The Money Machine

Welcome to your new job! You are a engineer for a huge company. However the company is having some financial problems. So they have tasked you with creating an amazing money engine that generate MONEY! However you used up all of the companies money to do that. So you are down to your last coins and need to make sure the company does not go bankrupt!

The only input required is your mouse. The area to the left is the machine and the area to the right is your inventory. Below the inventory is a empty box where occasionally a shop will appear! Here you can buy new components to your machine but watch out! At the top of the screen are a time line with events. Each event has a COUNT DOWN to when it will happen! As of this version of the game there are 4 random events!

Random Events

• The Thief event - The thief will steal one component in your inventory
• The Scientist event - The scientist will give you a component or a random component if you choose to ignore him
• The Mafia event - The godfather arrives and demands a component or else he will stop your production.. for a time
• The IRS event - They take 1/3 of your current money. Should have payed your taxes 

There is one more event that is a lot less random. Every 30 seconds a bill will arrive that doubles in cost every time it appears. After the bill has been payed a grace period of 10 seconds will happen where during the grace period time moves at half speed and the shop is open for businesses. Take this time to breath and browse the shop to find just what you need!

Tools Used
All assets in the game was created by Nixeff using Pixelorama for the art and Beepbox for the soundtrack. 

The game itself was developed by Nixeff and Pistolmannen on Godot using Github as our repository handler.
